Although the Pistol 1 group class is great for first time shooters, Pistol First Steps is a private, one-on-one introductory class specially designed for those who feel intimidated by Pistols & shooting in groups, but are still eager to gain knowledge and confidence. Our Pistol First Steps class provides a safe, private, & supportive environment where you’ll learn the basics.

We cover fundamental skills such as gun safety, range safety, gun operations, master grip, stance, aiming, trigger control, loading & unloading. You’ll also learn essential safety practices, including how to store, transport, and maintain a pistol properly.

By the end of the lesson, you'll have gained practical skills and a newfound confidence in handling a firearm safely and responsibly.

This class is the first group class every new shooter will take, & will continue to take until they have scored a 90% or better on marksmanship & 100% on safety. This class covers gun safety, range safety, gun operation, & drawing and shooting from the holster. We will combine individual skill sets with mindset to help you defend yourself and others.

Plus there is LOTS of shooting in this class. In fact, shooting is a core component. Progress only comes from high volume reps with popper instruction behind it. You will be going through 300-500 rounds a day…

This class builds on top of all the fundamentals you learned from pistol 1 and takes your skills a step further. Prior training IS required to be eligible to attend this course. Otherwise you will fall behind in this class & your fellow teammates will not progress.

Class starts with a safety brief, an inspection of each individual’s pistol, gear, and an audit of your shooting fundamentals. (grip, stance, draw, holster, reloads, & overall safety).

This class does require instructor approval and is by invitation only.
