Combat Pistol 1 is your introduction to the reality of self defense shooting with a pistol. The foundation you build in this class is the first step towards transitioning from shooting your pistol, to becoming an operator. Beginners are welcomed to this class, but not first time shooters. You need to have a basic understanding of your pistol operation, some experience with drawing & shooting from a holster, & most importantly, be able to demonstrate a full understanding of gun safety.

Description

This class covers gun safety, gun operation, loading & unloading, grip, stance, trigger press, draw stroke, tac reloads, emergency reloads, clearing malfunction, moving & shooting, precision shooting, & defensive shooting. We combine individual skillset and mindset training necessary to help you better defend yourself and others. Have no doubt, there is LOTS of shooting in this class. In fact, shooting is a core component. Progress only comes from high volume reps, with popper instruction behind it. You will be going through 200-300 rounds a day. 

Our Combat Pistol 1 class is open to anyone 21 years old and up. Class starts with a safety brief & an inspection of each students pistol & gear.

What’s included/What do I need to bring?

This class is at our outdoor tactical shooting range on private land in Escondido. If you have your own pistol and gear, bring it. If you do not, we have plenty you can borrow for a small rental fee. We have tables, chairs, & a bathroom. Feel free to bring your own table and chair as well.
